| dc.description.abstract | T1D, which stands for Type 1 Diabetes, is a healthcare follow-up application designed to sup- port patients with Type 1 Diabetes in managing their daily health routine in an organized and accessible way. The system provides tools for glucose tracking, meal logging, reports, appoint- ments, notifications, and communication with healthcare providers. The application supports multiple user roles, including patients, doctors, nutritionists, family members, and administrators. Patients can record glucose readings, track meals, view reports, book appointments, and communicate with doctors and nutritionists. Doctors can monitor assigned patients, review glucose data, manage appointments, and provide medical follow-up. Nutritionists can create meal plans and follow patient progress, while family members can monitor patient safety and receive important alerts. The admin role manages users and approves healthcare providers. The system was developed using Flutter for the frontend, Node.js and Express.js for the backend, MongoDB for data storage, and Firebase for notifications and real-time alert support. The application also includes multi-language support for Arabic and English, dark mode, role-based access control, and secure password management. Overall, T1D aims to make diabetes care easier, safer, and more organized by connecting pa- tients, healthcare providers, and family members within one integrated platform. | |

| dc.description.statementofresponsibility | T1D represents an important digital solution for supporting patients with Type 1 Diabetes by bringing several healthcare follow-up services into one platform. Instead of relying on sepa- rate tools for glucose tracking, meal logging, appointments, reports, and communication, T1D provides a centralized system that organizes these features in a clear and accessible way. The significance of the T1D project can be summarized as follows: Improved Diabetes Follow-up: The system helps patients record glucose readings, track meals, and view reports that summarize their health status over time. Better Communication: T1D improves communication between patients, doctors, and nutritionists by providing direct chat and appointment management. Family Monitoring: The system allows family members to monitor patient status and receive important alerts, which increases patient safety. Organized Medical Data: Patient information, readings, reports, appointments, and meal plans are stored in one system, making follow-up easier for both patients and health- care providers. Multi-role Healthcare Support: T1D is not limited to patients only. It includes doctors, nutritionists, family members, and administrators, making it a complete follow- up environment. Accessibility and Usability: The application supports Arabic and English languages, dark mode, and user-friendly interfaces to improve accessibility for different users. Overall, T1D contributes to making diabetes management more organized, safer, and easier by using modern mobile and web technologies to connect patients with their healthcare support network | |
