SmartOps Integrated Operations Management Platform for SMEs

Abstract

SmartOps is an integrated operations management platform designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in organizing and optimizing daily business activities. The system provides a centralized digital environment for managing users, projects, tasks, and analytical reports through both a web application and a mobile application that share a unified backend infrastructure. Many SMEs still rely on fragmented tools, manual tracking methods, and unstructured communication, which reduces workflow visibility, causes delays, and limits performance monitoring. SmartOps addresses these challenges by offering a unified system with real-time updates, improving task coordination, transparency, and operational control across teams. The platform follows modern software engineering principles and a RESTful architecture, enabling scalable and maintainable development. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is implemented to ensure secure and organized access for different user roles, including administrators, employees, and clients. In addition, SmartOps also includes an AI Health Analysis module that evaluates project progress, deadline pressure, task completion, pending work, overdue tasks, and high- priority risks. The module calculates a project health score, classifies risk level, predicts possible delay conditions, and presents a smart summary to support proactive project monitoring. SmartOps is designed with a modular and extensible architecture to allow future enhancements such as advanced analytics, cloud deployment, and integration with external enterprise systems.
