dc.description.abstract | Palestine is highly vulnerable to climate change. As a part of the Mediterranean region, the country is already facing an observed warming trend in temperatures and a declining trend in precipitation which have a major negative impact on the availability of water and food production. The research’s objective is to study Palestinian awareness of climate change, in addition to estimating greenhouse gas emissions, levels and emissions. The results of the study showed that the Palestinians are well aware of climate change and that the transport sector is the sector that has the greatest impact on the level of emissions in Palestine. | en_US |
