Abstract
A project based on the design of a Palestinian parliament in the city of Ramallah. The reason for
choosing the project is that Palestine does not have a Palestinian parliament as an occupied
state. This project is the starting point for the historic Free State of Palestine. The idea of
designing the project to choose a suitable location for the parliament where the project's land
is located to the south of Ramallah and north of Jerusalem, it is located between two major
Palestinian cities, and it is located near an ancient Roman cast.
The idea of the project emerges from the purpose of the Parliament Building, which is a building
for the people and only for the people, and from my design for the project I focused on this
objective, my design being a flexible and comfortable design for the movement of the people and
visitors, so I chose the project lines to be flexible curved lines away from the rigid straight lines,
and I also briefed the basic Parliament Hall in the middle with two curved arms that are parked
from one side and high from one side. The Parliament movement was generally designed to
separate the movement of the people, the movement of members of Parliament and the
movement of the press, which increased the flexibility of the design and gave every person
visiting or working in Parliament their privacy, making the Parliament building one of the most
innovative and challenging buildings built in modern times
