| dc.description.abstract | E-commerce provides an easy way to sell products to a large customer base. However, there is a lot of competition among multiple e-commerce sites. When users land on an e-commerce site, they expect to find what they are looking for quickly and easily. Also, users are not sure about the brands or the actual products they want to purchase. Many customers nowadays search for their products on Google rather than visiting specific e-commerce sites. As a result we can find millions of online Stores Worldwide. Online Marketing reaches each person these days in many ways. Also, it opens opportunities for People to Make Money and hire other People. Most of the online stores don’t utilize the personalized recommendation system and they satisfy their customers with a non-personalized recommendation system. This might be due to the complexity of implementing the personalized system, this requires a lot of processing and some mathematics which is not easy to build. In our project, we manage to build a full e-commerce website with a full recommendation system based on a collaborative filtering approach. We’ve used the latest techniques which currently exist in web development. We managed to make the website generic in order for the ability to re-sell it or run it as a business, we provide plenty of features to give the customer the best user experience. Our Project mainly aims to provide the customer with his needs of Digital Goods even if it was a Software Licenses or Some Service Subscription with minimum effort to perform by using a personalized recommendation system. Also, we wanted to show that building a full recommendation system is not complex as most people think as well as the ability to utilize the latest techniques in web development. | en_US |
