dc.description.abstractThis project focuses on the development of a comprehensive e-commerce website for Salem’s Carpets and Home Furnishings using the Odoo platform. The system integrates several critical business functions, including inventory management, sales, and purchasing, while also leveraging social media marketing through a dedicated Facebook page. The primary objective is to create an intuitive and efficient online presence that enhances customer engagement and streamlines back-end operations. The e-commerce website will feature a user-friendly interface, detailed product listings, and secure payment options, designed to provide an optimal shopping experience. The inventory management component will ensure real-time tracking of stock levels, automate reordering processes, and manage supplier relationships. This module will be seamlessly integrated with the sales and purchasing systems within Odoo, allowing for accurate stock updates and efficient order fulfillment. The sales and purchasing systems will facilitate smooth transactions, from customer orders to supplier procurements, ensuring that all processes are synchronized and transparent. This integration will enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall customer satisfaction. Additionally, a Facebook page will be created and managed to boost marketing efforts, engage with customers, and drive traffic to the website. Social media marketing will play a key role in promoting products, announcing new arrivals, and offering special promotions. In conclusion, this project aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of using Odoo for building a robust and integrated business solution. The implementation is expected to result in improved inventory accuracy, streamlined sales and purchasing processes, and enhanced marketing outreach, ultimately leading to increased business performance for Salem’s Carpets and Home Furnishings.
