Impacts of integrating solar PV power to an existing grid

Abstract

Considering the traditional design of residential electricity distribution networks in Palestine, the possibility of utility voltage profile influenced due to injection of solar photovoltaic (PV) power is possible as many utilities have capacitor banks for reactive power compensation, in this research the impact of integrating PV systems will be studied considering related parameters of the grid.
