Abstract
In the evolving landscape of e-commerce, online shoppers often face difficulties in selecting fashion accessories without physically trying them on. Our graduation project aims to address this challenge by developing an online clothing store integrated with an augmented reality (AR) virtual try-on feature for sunglasses. This feature enables customers to visualize how different sunglasses fit on their faces in real-time, enhancing the shopping experience and reducing return rates. Users can try on sunglasses by capturing a photo of themselves and then selecting the desired eyewear, allowing them to see how different styles look on their face before making a purchase. The system will utilize AR technology, facial recognition, and web-based rendering to provide an interactive and user-friendly experience. By combining e-commerce with AR, our project seeks to bridge the gap between online shopping and in-store experiences, offering a practical and innovative solution for fashion retail.
Additionally, the store will feature a dedicated section that sells clothing with prints and designs inspired by Palestinian heritage and national identity. This section aims to promote cultural expression and awareness through fashion, offering customers unique and meaningful apparel that reflects the rich history and resilience of Palestine.
