Visually impaired people are an integral part of society, and are worth as much as anyone else. The only difference is that they are challenged in different ways. So it is our responsibility as a society to provide means that facilitate their life and make basic tasks not feel like hard chores. Thus, in this project we will attempt to build a device that a blind person can wear which has an ultrasonic sensor that detects nearby obstacles. It will also be paired up with an ESP32 wireless module for monitoring and logging. As well as an Mp3 device that will act as a “checkpoint” system, where it will play a sound clip upon reaching a certain destination.en_US
