Abstract
Up to this point in time, many digital solutions have been created for all types
of problems in the day to day activities. Despite these solutions people still visit
supermarkets, shops, dealers, and restaurants etc. during these visits individuals may
experience long drives, traffic and all sorts of unpleasant elements only to find out
that the desired item, product, or service is not available. Which leads to the need of a
solution that addresses this issue.
A-Z Delivery was developed as proposed solution for this problem, it’s a detailed web
platform as well as a mobile platform that facilitates the direct connection between a
wide net of stores varying in all categories, restaurants, stores, and electronics, and all
sorts of products and services.
A-Z Delivery offers a mixed marketplace that gives the customers a chance to browse,
order and receive products from various vendors that are local to the customer, it
simply creates a web of connection between the customer and all the local stores and
vendors around all in a user friendly platform.
The creation of this platform simplifies the process of driving to multiple stores,
browsing through many items in addition to dealing with all the unnecessary time
wasting headaches of physically going out shopping while having to cancel plans or
be excused from work.
The idea for this project was inspired by having a centralized system that includes
diverse stores that tend to the different needs of individuals as the same time, which
separates it from all the existing delivery systems that have saturated the current
market, not only that but it also includes a logistics system that people can use to
transport personal items.
JavaScript modern technologies was utilized to develop this project, as for the highly
responsive and dynamic front-end interface React was used, as well as Node.js
powers was used to develop the back-end server-side logic.
The final developed system was developed, tested, and evaluated to make sure the
system is reaching its potential when it comes to enhancing the customer’s
convenience in addition to optimizing urban mobility by reducing the need for
unnecessary travel.
