| dc.description.abstract | The project is analysis and design of a multistory building in the commercial center in Nablus. The building named as (Al-Assi Mall) consist of ten floors with total area of 11313.82 m² .The basement and ground floor will be used for shopping , then the next seven floors will be used for parking, and the last will be Restaurants . The building will be assessed as a parking facility at the heart of the commercial center in Nablus in terms of vehicle movement into and out of the building. The Project will be to analyze and design a structural system for an illustrative commercial building in Nablus, Palestine. The project will be analyzed and designed under static and dynamic loads. The preliminary design will be done under static loading only, while in the final design will be carried out on a three-dimensional model. The model will be created using ETABS 2016 program under both static and seismic loads. The building will be made from reinforced concrete according to ACI 318-14, and the structural system will be chosen such that the most economic design will be used. | en_US |
