dc.description.abstractThe main aim of the graduation project is to select and design the most suitable foundation system or systems of a multi-story Building in Al-Basateen Area in Nablus. The Building has 11 floor with different areas of each one, three floors are underground and eight floors are above ground level. The main problem in designing the foundation is the low bearing capacity of the natural land. The bearing capacity is about 180 KN/m2 (1.8 kg/cm2). Several suggestions will be studied in this project either to use deep foundation or perfuming soil improvement of the soil at the site.
