dc.description.abstract | The need for electricity increases rabidly these days, so the need for reduce the effect of the faults caused in the grid also increase, and the need for monitoring the grid parameters like current and sag increase, therefore creating a non-contact current monitoring technology became necessary for accurate and real-time detection of any current problems, so a magnetic-field sensing for monitoring the three phase currents and the sag in the conductors of HVTL is proposed. This technology is based on measuring the magnetic field then using the Biot–Savart law and solve the inverse problem to derive the phase currents as sources of the magnetic field, by a complete system consist of three and one phase system and mobiles phone as magnetic sensors, and mobile application we test this technique in two ways, by MATLAB on one phase system and by created mobile application on three phase system. | en_US |
