dc.description.abstractDue to increase in the population growth, the land prices and the need of Commercial and residential building multi-storey building are used to mitigation of Urban sprawl effects. In the project a reinforced concrete multi-storey building designed which consists of ten floors in Rafedia-Nablus. It has an area of equal 700 m2. It is a commercial building which has many utilizations like offices, garages, shops, Stores and Wedding Hall. In the project the following objectives were achieved: designing an appropriate system to the structure elements, designing the structure for seismic load, taken into consideration the most economical system and build up a structural model on ETAPS program. In this project the following steps were followed. First: architectural drawings and details on it were read and understood. Second: needed data and ACI codes were collected according to the uses of each storey to compute a correct load that was designed. Finally: preliminary design was calculated according to codes and then the model in ETAPS was built up.en_US
