| dc.description.abstract | The project introduces a proposal to re-design a health center which aims to provide all the services with the best and modern medical means by an integrated health facility with all the architectural and environmental solutions for an appropriate ambience and to suit privacy activity. For that reason, the importance of research in the development of engineering design is ideal for this building. The important aspects that will be treated in this project are the obstacles that prevent the provision of a comfortable ambience for patients, employees and any visitors, and these include architectural, structural, environmental, mechanical, and electrical parts and all needs for the disabled persons. The project will be built on researching of information and data relating to the function of the building and analyzing a case study such as Al Rahma dispensary in Nablus. The level of services safety standard and public facility provided were improved in an integrated way which includes architectural, structural, electrical, environmental, mechanical, and safety aspects a great challenge to create a desirable place with a noise reduction, economically, environmentally-friendly and comfortably. Architecturally, a design of three floors, the distribution of spaces was according to their functions and the orientation of the health center. The Architectural design was done by REVIT program and AUTOCA . Structurally, structural design was done by ETABs program in addition the seismic design taking in consider , acoustical design was by calculated STC value which was done by INSUL program and RT60 was done by ECOTECT program according to their codes, mechanical aspect which contain HVAC system was done by design builder program in addition to draining and water supply which done by code and drawing their plan by AOUTOCAD, the electrical aspects which contain lighting and daylight was done by DIALOX program according to their codes (daylight factor and LUX for lighting) finally the safety design taking in consider. | en_US |
