Abstract
Project Title: FurnAI: An Integrated AI-Driven Platform for Furniture E-commerce Manufacturing and Business Intelligence. Team Members: Helmi Tbaileh, Amer Kamal, Abdulhakeem Abuzarour. Introduction: Carpentry facilities in Palestine, ranging from small workshops to large-scale factories, still heavily rely on manual operations or limited basic technical systems to manage production and track materials. These traditional methods cause delays, inaccurate pricing, and limited visibility over business performance. Our project, FurnAI, aims to support this sector by providing a smart digital platform that integrates Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and AI tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Problem Statement: Furniture factories face challenges in calculating real production costs, as material tracking is often manual, leading to shortages and errors. There is no unified platform to connect suppliers with customers, and custom design pricing is often inconsistent. Furthermore, the lack of data analytics tools hinders understanding customer behavior or business performance, which limits strategic growth. Importance of the Problem: This sector is a vital part of the local economy. Solving these issues helps reduce waste, increase profits, and improve the customer experience. Our system provides an advanced yet accessible technical solution, allowing businesses to benefit from AI without high costs or complexity. Project Objective: The main goal is to build an AI-supported ERP and CRM system to manage products, orders, inventory, and suppliers. The system automatically calculates costs, offers an online store, and utilizes AI for customer segmentation and assistance, making daily operations faster, clearer, and more organized. Methodology and Proposed Solution: Herzallah Carpentry & Factory was selected as the practical model and case study for this project. The platform was built using HTML/CSS/JS for the frontend and Firebase for backend services and data storage. Google Gemini AI was integrated for two core features: "Smart Carpenter" for customer assistance and RFM analysis for behavior-based customer segmentation. The system also features a BI Dashboard for monitoring revenue and trends, along with a mobile version developed via Flutter for an enhanced user experience. Key Results: Testing showed that FurnAI significantly improves accuracy and speed in cost estimation and inventory management. The online store and AI assistant made customer interactions smoother, while the BI dashboard provided the management at Herzallah Carpentry & Factory with real-time insights into their business, offering a solid foundation for digital transformation in the local industry.
