Re-Designing of Foundation System for Residential Building

Abstract

This project is an analysis and design foundation of building (Jodeh Building) located in Rafidia behind Abu Sir in Nablus city. The building consists of 7 stories with an area of 380 square meters. The analysis of foundation loads will be done by using ETAB 18 program. The main goal is to redesign the foundations of a residential building, taking into account only gravity load, in addition to designing on three types of soil: strong, medium and weak, and then comparing the results, such as the cost of each type of foundations, with the soil on which the design was designed
