Foundation Design for a multi-story residential Building in Tulkarm city

Abstract

A project to design the foundations of a residential building, (Al-Kholod Building) as shown in figure 1. This building is located in the eastern plain in Tulkarm in Palestine. The plot number is 8178. The area of the plan is 570 meters, and the proposed building consists of 10 floors, each floor has a height of about 3 meters. The floors consist of a ground floor, eight duplicate floors and roofs with an area of about 280 square meters per floor. The outer walls of the building are made of bricks, except for the front facade, covered with building stone, and the inner walls of the building are 10 cm thick.
