Abstract
Project Overview: "Tredoo" is an online platform developed to address the challenges faced by computer engineering students in sourcing hardware components for their graduation projects. The platform aims to facilitate the exchange of hardware components between buyers and sellers, promoting reuse and reducing waste. Key Features: • Simplified Search and Purchase: Students can easily search for and purchase the required hardware components. • Streamlined Selling Process: Students can sell their used hardware components on the platform. How the Website Works 1. General Browsing: Users can browse the website without logging in. 2. Purchasing: Users must log in to complete purchases. 3. Cart Functionality: Users select components and add them to the shopping cart. 4. Payment and Delivery: Payments are confirmed, and the delivery process is managed by the admin. Challenges and Solutions • Readiness for Launch: The site needs further development and feature enhancements. • Design Improvements: Enhancing the user interface and interaction experience. • Additional Features: Integration of artificial intelligence, loyalty points, guest checkout, discount coupons, recommendation systems, online payments, customer support, email notifications, and a favorites list. Data Analysis • Project Costs: Student project costs range between 1000 and 4000. • Challenges in Obtaining Components: 71.2% of students faced difficulties in obtaining components. • Disposal of Components after Use: 50.8% sold components, 11.9% donated, 35.6% neglected, and 1.7% destroyed components. Market Analysis • Lack of Direct Competition: There are no direct competitors with the same concept. • Indirect Competitors: Existing alternatives include bookstores and other general hardware suppliers. Target Audience • Computer Engineering Students: Students looking for a reliable source of hardware components or wishing to sell their used components. • University Students: Any student possessing components they wish to buy or sell. Economic Feasibility • Revenue Model: Revenue is generated through commissions on each transaction. • Risks: Potential risks include political instability, road closures, strikes, new competitors, and fluctuating prices. Infrastructure • Human Resources: Comprising developers, designers, and project managers. • Partnerships: Collaborations with electronic payment services, shipping companies, and web hosting providers. "Tredoo" represents a significant step toward facilitating the exchange of hardware components among students, enhancing their educational experiences and reducing costs associated with their projects. The platform is designed to make sourcing and selling components more accessible and efficient, addressing the practical needs of engineering students.
