Civil engineering is very important in our life, because it deals with several problems in the world, one of these problems is how to construct a water network and deliver it to people, and another one is the waste water. In this project, the water and waste water problem in Kefel Haris village will be studied, analyzed and designed. Kefel Haris is a village that is located 4.5 km north of Salfeet city. It is bordered by Qira and Marda villages to the east, Salfeet city to the south, Haris and Deir Istiya villages to the west, and Zeita Jamma'in villages in Nablus Governorate to the north. The average elevation of Kefel Haris lands is about 483 m above mean sea level (AMSL). The population in this village is about 4086 inhabitants. The main objectives will be achieved in this project are, firstly analyzing the existing water distribution network, secondly determining the losses of water in the existing network, then redesigning a new network under specifications .finally, designing a sewer network. To achieve these objectives the following data will be collected; contour map, area and its geographical location, existing and proposed road networks, present and future population plus the growth rate of the village, designed period, the total demand, water bills (January - December/ 2018),the current situation of the water network and the problem which faces it. Then these data will be analyzed to find the percent of loss of water in the network by making a comparison between the total demand and the consumption of citizens. By analyzing the current water network where the diameters were taken from the municipality(2,3 in) and the network was modeled on waterCAD program, then the results were taken and compared with the specifications, also; we found that most of the velocity reading and pressure are outside the acceptable range (20-100 mH2O) for pressure and (0.1-3 m / s) for velocity. Next, we redesigned a new water distribution network with new diameters (2, 3, 4 and 6 in) and we constructed a second reservoir then we separated the network and solve the velocity and pressure problem and we make it within the acceptable range. We use ductile iron material for both analysis and redesign. The village has no waste water collection system; therefore, a wastewater collection network would be designed. As a result, specific information are needed to start designing. For example, contour map, building, roads, water consumption, water resources, population data now and population for the design period (future population) to evaluate the generated load for each manhole. The main constraint of the project are cover (1-5 m), velocity (0.6-3 m/s) and slope (0.01-0.12). After the design ,we have 481 manholes, 481 conduits with 8 in diameter, and 3 outfalls. And we use the circulars- PVC for conduit in the network. Finally we calculated the total cost of the project which is equal 1,451,700 $.en_US
