Abstract
School management system is a very important field in our life. So that, it should have a great place in computing revolution. Our project will get a full school management system includes several actors and various features. It is a web based project that helps administrator, teachers, advisor, accountant, parents, and students keep in touch with each other and dealing with their duties in a fast and easy way.
Each actor should have a specific profile with limited permissions such as:
The teacher could record student's marks and view his/her schedule. Also, send notifications to all students in class about exam date or homework deadline. Moreover, if he decided to absent , our system will search for a relative teacher to get his/her place at class depending on some roles such as the type of subject and level of class , and send him/her notification if he/she is free ,if the system didn't find any one ,it send notification for adviser to get his place .In addition, he could chat with students to answer them about the material, and can send them useful tutorial links or website related to material who teach it, publish homework with a deadline to all student and keep in touch with student's parents.
Administrator(Admin) could generate the schedule and timetable for all classes ,and send notification to students about the important events, extra circular activities or the competition between different schools, record student's attendance, and send notification for parents if student absent ,he could register, delete and update student's info, in addition, to manage fees with report, actually the admin control all the members of our system, as he is the only one who can add the members to the website.
Parents can see the marks, attendance and information of their children, also they can chat with the administrator, teachers, and advisor each with a special purpose. In addition, can pay all kind of fees online and view the fees’ reports.
The advisor can do chat with parents, students, and administrator and upload important and interesting blogs related to students.
Secretary can view and manage student's fee(school fee,books,bus and the uniform) and send report to the administrator and send a message to the administrator if there is some problem like lack of books or stuff and manage fees with the reports.
Student could view his/her profile, timetable and marks, they can do chat with teachers in order to ask them about materials or homework, in addition, he can do chat with the psychological counseling teacher "advisor" if he/she suffer from violence,drugs or problems in learning, he could read several suggestions to spend the weekend or vacation from psychological counseling teacher.
Each report in the system prepared to several uses like the view, print, and download. And the system is compatible with all kinds of schools.
