    The Inflectional Forms In The Suwar Revealed In Medina: A Denotative Linguistic Study

    It is a major and clear phenomenon in many works of Great Scholars in the field of language to be equipped with and affected by the kind of language that holy Qur'an always offers and uses as it is the strongest reference that can ever be found to support those structural elements of Arabic in a way that reflects the really of Arabic language. This study aimed at studying the inflectional forms and their denotative meaning within the Suwar of the Holy koran that were revealed in Medina in regard to the augmentation and unaugmentation of the verbs and nouns they did include, and track their meanings back to old scholars, and then apply what is mentioned of these meanings on the suwar of Medina supported by quotations from the Holy Koran and poetry, and finally classifying all of them within tables, each according to the form within which it was mentioned, or ordering the topics alphabetically. This current study includes two sections: the first, approached the unaugmented verbs and their meanings and the type of change in meaning resulted from the letters being added to them, and which resulted in a change in their form and denotations . The transitivity and intransitivity of these verbs, and the changes they were liable to as a result of becoming transitive from the intransitive through using prepositions or vice versa, were also approached. As a result, each of these verbs did include the meaning of the other taking its predicament. Other verbs included phonic changes such as omission, transference, and quiescence which took place in augmented and un augmented verbs. In regard to the substitution, it took place in some augmented forms. These two phenomena were sought to achieve lightness and homogeneouity. The second section approached both the a plastic and derivative nouns also in regard to their augmentation and unaugmentation , detect their meanings in the books of the old scholars, then classifying them into a plastics and derivatives, and lastly studying the different forms of plurality. The results of this study indicate that there is some kind of majority in nouns compared with verbs in those suwar in regard to the diversity in their forms , and the diversity in the topics within which they were mentioned. The results also revealed that what is augmented with one letter is more common than that which is augmented in two……etc., according the requirements of the expression. A general result of this study can be stated ; that is, submitting the suwar revealed in medina to a linguistic study and what this linguistic study revealed – directing the meanings and denotatives in these suwar
