Water is essential for social and economic development for any nation, thus it is used as a weapon to deprive others from any desired development. Water is the source of life for everything, such role is stated in the Quraan “ Water enliven every thing”. This study examined Arab- Israeli conflict; water is considered a major player in directing this conflict. The study focused o n the r ole of w ater resources in directing Israeli Settling policies, specially in their spatial distribution; clustering and diffusion, in the occupied West Bank during 1967-2002. In the first chapter the study showed the introduction and the methodology. The second chapter included the geographical characteristics of P alestine t ogether w ith its hydrological system, and their relationship with Israel borders. Water projects inside Israel before 1948, during 1948- 1967, and in the occupied West Bank after 1967 were included in chapter three in addition to Israel water policy in the West Bank. The development of Israeli Settlements in the West Bank after 1967, its phases, its distribution, settlement projects in West Bank districts and their relationship with water resources. The fifth chapter studied the relationship between the residents and water resources of each political unit; the West Bank, Israeli Settlements in the West Bank and Israel. This chapter studied also water consumption in every political unit, it drew a comparison between Israeli settlers and Palestinian Arabs in the same locality; the West Bank.It also showed water budget for each unit. The effect of Israeli Settling policies on water resources is also included in this chapter. Finally, chapter six showed the results, the recommendations and the terminology used throughout the study.
