Abstract
Palestine suffers from a shortage of electricity and high costs due to the occupation. The state is trying to limit the purchase of electricity from the occupied side. This project is looking for an alternative energy source that uses photovoltaic electricity. Photovoltaic energy depends on the sun and works on the solar cell system, which is a source of clean, silent energy, and is considered the near future. This project was talked about with a historical overview of the use of solar energy and the extent of its spread, and it was allocated to solar cells as the most important example of the use of solar energy and the components of this system and its composition and what makes it a successful system. These cells. In calculation found that needed 80 modules from Mitsubishi electric photovoltaic to produce 23 kWp with 2 inverters from Kstar that cover and accede the school needed. The history of solar energy, especially solar cells, was discussed in Palestine, and awareness and guidance for using this energy was taken into consideration. He also talked about the location of the city and the village in general, the school's location in particular, the amount of radiation and the annual path of the sun in that area. The school’s electricity costs were also calculated, as it reached a peak of 2000 EGP / month and included in a program that calculates the number of solar cells that must be placed on the roof (80 modules) and how to install them to cover the required electricity and the size of the wires in each area used, as well as the security devices used in the system and lighters. Shadows surrounding the building and their impact on the system and its efficiency were considered. In conclusion, the economic feasibility of the project account was 7164,915 SYP / year, and the expected payback period was 17 years from a 25-year-old, and the results showed that the project is economically feasible and maintains a clean and ready-made environment directly for implementation. And it is good for schools to seek to establish these projects.
