dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at examining the attitudes of the Islamic University faculty towards student evaluation of their performance in addition to presenting IUG experience in evaluating teaching performance by students. The analytical descriptive method was used. The sample consisted from 131 IUG faculty members. A questionnaire was developed. It consisted from three parts in addition to an open-ended question. Results showed that: 1) In spite of its newness, IUG experience was rich and lavish in relation to its tools and results. 2) Faculty attitudes towards student evaluation were neutral in general. 3) Faculty attitudes toward students' evaluation were positive in many items. 4) Faculty attitudes towards students' evaluation were negative in some items. 5) Results showed that there are two- way interactions between the age and academic rank variables in addition to three way interactions between the age, academic rank and the country of the certificate. Recommendations emphasized the following: the importance of the diffusion of quality of culture, the use of different faculty assessment tools, student awareness with regard to the assessment process by using seminars, lectures and newsletters, improving the existing faculty assessment tools taking into account the different colleges and specializations in addition to supporting the tools computerization process for efficiency.en
dc.description.abstractهدف الدراسة التعرف على اتجاهات أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعة الإسلامية نحو تقييم الطلبة لهم، وعرض تجربة الجامعة الإسلامية في تقييم أداء عضو هيئة التدريس من خلال رأي الطالب في أداء الأستاذ الجامعي، مستخدماً المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وبلغت العينة (131) عضو هيئة تدريس في الجامعة الإسلامية، واستخدمت استبانة تكونت من ثلاثة أبعاد وسؤال مفتوح, وكانت أهم نتائج الدراسة: 1) إن تجربة الجامعة الإسلامية في تقييم عضو هيئة التدريس على الرغم من حداثتها إلا أنها ثرية، ومتنوعة في أدواتها ونتائجها. 2) تشير النتائج إلى أن اتجاهات أعضاء هيئة التدريس نحو تقييم الطلبة لهم كانت محايدة في مجملها. 3) أن اتجاهات أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعة الإسلامية نحو تقييم الطلبة كانت مرتفعة (ايجابية) في العديد من الفقرات. 4) أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن اتجاهات أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعة الإسلامية نحو تقييم الطلبة كانت منخفضة (سلبية) في العديد من الفقرات. 5) تشير النتائج إلى وجود أثر للتفاعلات الثنائية بين متغيرات العمر والرتبة الأكاديمية وكذلك للتفاعلات الثلاثية بين العمر والرتبة الأكاديمية وبلد الشهادة. وأوصت الدراسة بأهمية نشر ثقافة التقويم، وتنويع أساليب التقييم لعضو هيئة التدريس، وتوعية الطلبة بأهمية وجدية عملية التقييم من خلال الندوات والنشرات والمحاضرات، وتطوير النماذج المستخدمة في عملية تقييم أداء عضو هيئة التدريس، ومراعاة الخصوصية لبعض الكليات والتخصصات، ودعم حوسبة أدوات التقويم رفعاً للكفاءة.ar
