dc.description.abstract | Nablus city is one of the largest cities in the northern governorates in the West Banks. It is located in a strategic position between Mount Ebal and Mount Gerzim and occupies an important commercial, economical, intellectual and cultural position within the Palestinian territories. Palestinians name it the Mountain of Fire "as an indication to its strong resistance to Israeli occupation. Our project deals with the design of a modern restaurant in Jamal Abdel-Naser park in Nablus. The importance of this project comes from the fact that the aforementioned park doesnt have its own restaurant. Although the park is the biggest in Nablus and lies near the center of the city, the park visitors end up having to get their own food or heading to a restaurant outside the park for food service. The restaurant will thus serve as an additional attraction element for the park visitors. In the course of our research, an integrated design approach was followed that takes into consideration the architectural, structural, electrical, environmental, mechanical, and safety aspects. Sufficient data that enables us to introduce and design an environment- friendly restaurant was collected. | en |
