dc.description.abstractNablus which was called "the mountain of fire" at ancient times is nowadays one of the oldest cities in Palestine, if not the world. It is located at the north of Palestine with a unique topography between two mountains Eibal & Gerizim. In the past decades it was considered as the economical capital city of Palestine, due to the ancient city which contains Roman Theaters, Mosques and other old buildings. As a result it became an attractive point for tourists and historical explorers. Due to the huge growth of population and tourism in the last years, large economical movements were observed in Nablus. Moreover, projects such as hotels, coffee shops and restaurants, parks, recreational areas and others are considered of the good investments This graduation project is oriented to design a multi-purpose restaurant which satisfies visitors, tourists and investors needs, but the most important thing is to secure a comfortable and attractive place to customers and to design the first restaurant which is environmental friendly.. Our project will emphasize on most of engineering aspects including Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and environmental systems. Local and international standards and codes of practice will be applied. In the structural design, the project will be analyzed and designed using software programs with consideration of dynamic analysis. Architectural design will focus on shape and easy accessibility between different sections of the building, plans and 3-D models will be provided. In mechanical and environmental section H-Vac , water, piping and sanitation system will be designed, methods of waste disposal will be discussed. Electrical system will include designing power and lighting units and taking in consideration the special sections with heavy loads like the kitchen. In addition to that and for all of these criteria, the design will provide emergency exists, fire system and handicap utilities. All analysis and design details of the project will be documented in a report with shop drawings which contain all design details and can be implemented in practice.by the end of this project , it can be implemented as the first and unique restaurant that can be called environmental friendly restaurant .en
