This project is about the structural design of a new school in Aqqaba town in Tubas Governorate. Due to the fact that there is an increasing demand for new schools in Palestine, also to make sure to deliver and create schools with the best learning environment in terms of spaces, facilities and on top of that to submit the safe designs. Usually and thanks to Ministry of Education and Higher Education, there are many requirements that has been adopted and improved with time towards the safe design in terms of integrating green elements and avoiding fatal mistakes in the structural design in terms of seismic requirements. But, are these schools adequately analyzed and designed to sustain seismic loads? Are the designers adopting the up to date codes and standards?  Are these schools ready to be used as shelters in case of earthquakes? So, it is quite important to analyze and design such important projects using the up to date techniques and applying the best code standards mainly the earthquakes.  To get as accurate results as possible, the project will be analyzed using dynamic analysis for a 3D structure model under static and dynamic loads by ETABS program. The results will be checked for comparison purposes using sample hand calculations.Due to the fact that the world is shifting to international codes, the project will be designed using both UBC 97. The analysis and design results adopted will be eventually presented in drawings and details using AutoCADen
