| dc.description.abstract | Intercommunication systems has been rapidly developing in recent years due to its importance for security and simple use in any building. yet, there is no manufacturing in Palestine, only importing. This project will suggest the first model for an intercommunication system in Palestine which must contain the basic elements of any intercommunication system, then upgrading it for digital one. Relying on information theory, communication principles, electronics, digital processors and controllers, various programming types of hardware and software, circuit design, electromagnetics and the combining knowledge of engineering to deliver a commercial model ready for manufacturing. Multiple steps will be among process as handling analog information then digitizing, encoding-decoding multiplexing and processing for optimum operation and setting basics for advanced voice over IP operation and networking locally or over internet then it could be combined with access control systems for more frequent usage, security and benefit from two devices in one application being sure it is cheaper. As far as we know, this project has not been done before. But intercommunication devices are flooded in markets it is demanded for every building and can be combined with access control systems which indicates its significance locally or globally. In general, the main output of this project will be a complete multi-apartment door intercom system which will be ready for commercial production. | en_US |
