Reinforced concrete structures are one of the most popular structural systems used in Palestine. This project is about the structural design of a new commercial building in the city of Rawabi (mosque and municipality building ). This building consists of two models (mosque and municipality),the first one consist of 6 floors, while the second one consist of 4 floors . In project (I) structural design and analysis of the building was under gravity load and the design of concrete elements is controlled by ACI 318-11 code. This project is designed of by considering gravity loads as well as seismic loads. This design will be based on UBC- 1997. Structural elements such as footings, stairs, columns, beams, slabs and shear walls will be completed and finalized with all details . 3-D structural model was prepared to represent the reality, ETABS 2016 program was selected for this purpose. The analysis is verified using conceptual hand calculation for sample output from the program. Detailed design of all structural elements for gravity and seismic loads will be done and drawn using AutoCAD program. Design and analysis of footings is done using Safe 2016.en_US
