SEISMIC DESIGN OF ALBEZREH BUILDING IN NABLUS

Abstract

AL-Bizreh Commercial Centre is located in Nablus. The proposed design be evaluated for resisting gravity loads . To make the mathematical model representative for the structure in reality it is necessary to make a 3D structural model for the building and analyse it under static loads. The analysis is verified using conceptual hand calculations for 1D model. Detailed design using manual and a software program also be presented. Comparison between the conceptual analysis /design and the results from the software program will be high lightened. It is expected that the dimensions of the structural elements will be acceptable.  The design results be evaluated and discussed.  .. . . .  .
