dc.description.abstractThis project tries to depict and to provide a well-integrated framework for analytic studies and conceptual design of a power plant cycle. This work’s up most first priority is to use different available fuel alternatives to generate electricity in power plants based on economic reasoning’s and effective output efficiencies to enhance local economy. Objective: The main goal of this project is to provide an electric power from different types of fuels and to choose the best fuel that provides the most efficiency. For that to be accomplished, a comprehensive study and experimentations were carried on the kinds of fuel available to be used in into the power plant cycle. The process of converting the energy in a fuel into electric power involves machine creation that converts fuels into electric power. Depending on the fuel type and thermodynamic process, the overall efficiency of this cycle can be as low as 30 percent. This means that two-thirds of the latent energy of the fuel ends up wasted. Sadly because of the pandemic (Covid-19) this project could not be done the way it should be, so it’s been decided to make a simulation for the Rankine Cycle and limited this project to theoretical background studies and simulation to replace the original goal of building a real life power plant hoping that this would complete this project in the most efficient way.en_US
