dc.description.abstract | In many construction jobs, deep excavations must be made before the structure can be built. This project will illustrate different types of excavation support systems in general and describing the different methods available worldwide. Then it will survey the methods available locally (Nablus City). It also will design several excavation support systems for Nablus Mall. The systems including but not limited to the following systems: 1. Cantilever Sheet Pile Walls 2. Sheet Pile Walls with Nailing 3. Top down Construction Methods. 4. Anchored Sheet Pile Walls Using DeepXcav program to analysis and design the sheet piles, and using SPW911 program to do comparison between the result from DeepXcav and SPW911 software programs. And Using ETABS program to analysis and design the Top Down Construction. | en_US |
