Smart Traffic Lights Network For Nablus City

Abstract

This project present the current operation and maintenance of traffic light intersections and the design of Smart traffic light to monitor and control traffic light intersections in Nablus city. The system based on Making a synchronizations between intersections using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).the system depends on measuring the traffic light density by counting the number of Vehicles in each lane and comparing it with near intersections and considering the emergency cases.
