Abstract
Based on the principle of change and the fight against the traditional pattern of educational schools, the idea of my project began to grow. The main seed was to create an innovative educational atmosphere for the students from all levels of study, with a great opportunity for the student to engage in any non-systematic activity within the school and develop the creative aspects of his personality With methodological materials.
Hence, the idea of separating educational zones from the area of activities, which in turn can be used even after the end of official working hours.
The selected plot of the project includes environmental factors, beautiful scenery, tranquility and safety, as the residential area is in addition to the presence of An-Najah National University, which is an extension of the educational process in the region.
Architectural Concept:
The concept of architectural design was adopted in simple forms. The schools took the L shape form to take into consideration the arrival of lighting and ventilation for all the classrooms. It surrounded a quadrangle square.
The treated glass was used extensively to compensate for the lighting in the building where most parts of the building were underground.
Elevations where Designed to contain a large number of retreats, while the interior design was based on breaking the boring stereotype of the school and create an atmosphere that encourages students to study and communicate, and the replacement of solid walls with walls more vital.
The project has a main entrance for the users of the project or even the visitors .. The students each stage has a special entrance on the secondary streets to ensure the safety of students.
The functions used in the project are divided into two main parts:
* Educational part:
It consists of three schools for three stages of study (elementary, middle and secondary) and each school contains classrooms conforming to the international standards equipped with the latest means and can accommodate 25 students, scientific laboratories and computer laboratories, a special area for teachers, In addition to common areas to enhance communication between students.
Each school is followed by its own outdoor square for the morning queue and also for use by students in leisure time as well as cafeteria to provide meals for students.
* Public Activities Area: divided into three parts:
1 - The joint activities building includes a crafts center for wood, clay and paper education, a music teaching center, a public administration area, a nursery for teachers' children, a medical clinic and a unified school radio station. In addition to a library with a large number of users equipped with the latest means and directly linked to schools for easy access and encourage reading.
2 - Sports building with swimming pool and indoor playground according to international standards.
3 - An indoor theater for 500 people.
