dc.description.abstractMany problems are occurring in any project especially the construction ones and many of these problems can be prevented or at least minimized by applying the right concept of engineering management. From this concept, the idea of the project came up to reach efficient quality, least cost, and time in the end. This project deals with a quantity survey for a residential building consists of 10 floors locates in Rawabi city, Ramallah. The total area of it is 5385 m2 which includes about 527 m2 for the parking and 532 m2 for the remaining floors. To adopt this study, some data were needed to collect like structural and architectural plans, the activities' names, and duration and the standard rate of the resources were gathered from the contracting company. Different steps were adopted to analyze the gathered data. First of all, the plans were reviewed and analyzed. Secondly, quantities were calculated using Revit software and were compared with the results that were obtained from the contractor. Thirdly, the activities were scheduled using Primavera software to obtain cost and time. Fourthly, by using Lumion software, a group of 3D pictures was done. Finally, doing the 5D model by using Navisworks software. The outputs from this study confirmed the main assumption that the management concept is really important to take into consideration when doing projects. Most of the quantities that were calculated are near to the estimated quantities in the bid Bill of Quantity (BOQ), the project has a planned duration of 397 working days and the price is approximately 7,937,517₪en_US
