dc.description.abstractThe Palestinian energy situation faces many difficulties, starting from lack of energy infrastructure and because of Israeli’s restricts on energy production and importing. This project aims to propose Concentrated Solar Power Plant in Nablus city. The study objectives are to use the renewable energy sources which is available for free for energy production to build energy plant with 1 Mw capacity and 25000m² that on grid connected for Nablus city. We make two designs in our project the first one by using Csp technology and the other by using pv system. the price of energy produced by Csp is 0.173 $ /kwh without storage and 0.183 $ /kwh with three hour storage, however in pv system the price of kwh is 0.3$ /kwh. We discussed many parameters in each one and compare between negatives and positives points.en_US
