dc.description.abstractNaqsh is used to personalize items like your wallet or belt or phone cover by engraving basically any design on them. Naqsh is a compact laser engraver controlled by a computer and driven by an Arduino, the advantage of using a laser is that you can engrave virtually any design on tons of materials. In this project we're going to create a compact stand to put the items on, a lifted threaded shafts that will rotate and move the 2.5w laser to apply the design on the item. 2 stepper motors will be driven by the Arduino to rotate the threaded shafts, the shafts will have a nut threaded to them the nut will be connected to the laser and thus it will move, this concept will provide more torque and accuracy to the movement and will insure a long lasting product. The design will be loaded on the computer, and the computer will generate the path on which the laser will travel, the computer will be communicating with the Arduino via serial port to move the stepper motors and turn on the laser and the fan on the laser to keep it cool. using this product will help you personalize most of your items, anything that is made of Paper, cardboard, Fabric, Felt, Leather and Wood.en_US
