dc.description.abstractOur project is a foundations design for multibulding story . Law and Media Faculty buildingis located at the north western part of An-Najah National University which islocated at the western part of Nablus city.. The building consists of eight floors that have a total plan area of 6115 m2. The project consists of five chapters as the following: Chapter Two reviews all types and systems of foundations. It summarizes the main aspects of each type of foundation system. Structural analysis and site investigation is presented in Chapter Three. The building consists of eight floors that have a total plan area of 6115 m2. The structural design is to consider the lateral loads as well as gravity loads. In additional to that the geological nature of the site effects on the behavior of the building is considered in the analysis. The site of the building is mainly chalk Marly limestone with allowable bearing capacity equals to 350 KN/m2en_US
