dc.description.abstractThis project is concerning about structural design of proposed building that will be constructed in Nablus city. This project is designed to be an Apple Media Center. The center consists of 21 stories and is wrapped to 120 degree having two typical types of floor 560m2 and 812m2 . The architectural idea of the building could be considered as new innovative way of green systems in this area and could be considered like Cayan tower in Dubai, and other buildings around the world. Structural system is selected for this building, then the design includes the design of slabs, beams, columns, and other structural elements as concrete or steel structures. Analysis is conducted using 3D Finite Element software ETABS, AutoCAD and manual verification using 1-D, and 2-D analysis according to the National standards ACI, ASCE, AISC. This project is designed under gravity loads while lateral wind and seismic loads and final detailed drawings of Architectural functions and structural elements will be provided by the end of project.en_US
