Renewable energy is one of the most important sources of energy production in the world, because its production cost is low compared to fossil energy, in addition to that it has no negative impact on the environment compared to other energy sources that pose a great danger to the environment due to the pollution it causes, and we also benefit from Nature in its production. Solar energy is one of the types of renewable energy, as it has developed significantly recently and has proven its high efficiency in energy production, so the demand for it has increased significantly recently, especially The bifacial PV modules rapidly during the last few years. Palestine lacks energy production, as it produces only 8% of the total energy consumed during the year, due to political factors due to the Israeli occupation, and Palestine depends on 92% of the energy consumed from external sources, where the percentage of Palestine’s dependence on energy from Israel is 89%. Palestine's dependence on energy from Egypt and Jordan is 3%, and Gaza Strip depends on energy from Egypt. While the West Bank is dependent on Israel and Jordan, Palestine seeks to increase its domestic power generation from renewable energy. A large proportion of the energy consumed in Palestine is produced from fossil energy, which results in the emission of CO2 gas, which pollute the environment and it cost more than solar energy. As for the rest of the energy consumed, it is produced through solar energy. The main objective of this work is to experimentally investigate the behavior of a Bifacial module and to compare it with the performance of Monofacial module under the influence of the Palestinian climate, make a comparison between Bifacial and Monofacial units, the temperature of the two solar panels was almost equal and thus the effect of temperature on the efficiency of the two panels is equal, the absorbed solar radiation of the Bifacial panel was higher than the absorbed solar radiation of the Monofacial panel, and with the increase in solar radiation the energy produced increases, the Bifacial panel produced more power than the Monofacial panel even though reflectors were not placed under the Bifacial panel.en_US
