| dc.description.abstract | "Uncle Saleh the Smart: The Future of Arab Libraries Using Management Information Systems" This graduation project aims to transform "Uncle Saleh Library" in Nablus from a traditional, manually-operated library into a fully integrated digital platform based on Management Information Systems. The library currently relies on personal memory and informal procedures for inventory and order management, which leads to frequent errors and limits its ability to grow or serve a wider audience. The new system, developed using WordPress and WooCommerce, leverages artificial intelligence tools, recommendation engines, and customer behavior tracking. It offers features such as: an online store, order tracking, customer relationship management, a loyalty points system, digital and audio book access, an interactive blog, and a chatbot assistant. The system provides user-friendly interfaces for both customers and administrators, along with comprehensive analytics for performance and sales. This project presents a forward-looking model of an intelligent Arab library, enhancing the reading experience, supporting Palestinian authors, and offering a digital transformation framework for similar cultural institutions across the Arab world. | |
