dc.description.abstractWater is the basic resource in all human activity. Nobody on the earth can live without water, so all governments try to provide clean and healthy water resources to ensure that their citizens have safe and healthy living.Although Palestine has a limited water resources both ground water and surface water, but due to the political situation the Israeli Occupation control all water rescores in Palestine. No one can get benefit from these resources until he has permission from the occupation. This cause more restrictions and limitation on the availability of water to Palestinian people.This situation make from any development in the agricultural sector very hard because all people try to give priority for domestic water, then if they have the ability to use additional water in agricultural activates they will do.Rain water is the only resource that the occupation does not have the ability to control, so we can make from the resource our trade in development project.The rainy season in Palestine have a good average annual rainfall in most area of the West Bank, this make rain water harvesting projects relevant in providing water for agricultural activates.The main goal for this research is to enhance water availability for the use in the irrigation for different kinds of crops.Hydrological study for design AL-Maleh DamThe objective of this study is to Perform Hydrological study for Al-Maleh catchment, collect and store rain water by building a dam in Tayasir near Tubas. This dam can harvest and store runoff water collected from several valleys in one single area.en
