Abstract
The cultural center is considered one of the projects that focus on creating a cultural and educational environment that embraces all segments of society, so that their energies and ambitions are exploited, especially the youth, and directed in the right way so that we preserve our Palestinian culture from extinction; especially with the occupation's attempts to obliterate our identity at every opportunity, in addition to stealing it and attributing it to them.
The research includes in its first chapter an introduction on the concept of culture and cultural centers, their origins in Palestine, and a statement of their importance and the need for them at all levels, including cultural, social, psychological, and others. Then in the second chapter, I took two case studies of two cultural centers, one local and the other international, and all dimensions of the two projects were studied and clarified. As for the third chapter, the project site was clarified and studied from all environmental and architectural aspects, and in the fourth chapter, the project program was clarified from functional requirements and functional schedules in addition to the design standards for these functions.
The aim of the project is to create a cultural and educational environment within an entertainment framework, seeking to integrate culture into the lives of individuals, thus preserving it and ensuring its transmission between generations, in addition to being a good means that allows individuals of different age groups to use their time in a way that benefits themselves and their communities.
