dc.description.abstractOur project is the structural analysis and design of a residential building This building is in Nablus city, it has a plan area of 372m^2, and is mainly used for residential purposes and storage ,it consist of 9 floors, this project is important because this type of building is the most common in our country. We will conduct a safe design of this building in the ultimate and serviceability conditions under gravity forces . The methodology of this project start with the calculation of the loads and start the design with preliminary dimensions then model the building using sap 2000 software to get the final dimensions and reinforcement and finally produce the structural drawings Hand calculation will be made to check the results according to ACI318 design codeen_US
