dc.description.abstract | AbstractIn this project we must study the effect of heat treatment in the fatigue life, by increasing the quenching temperature above A1 to 1150 (maximum solubility limits). After quenching and tempering we should study the fatigue life using fatigue testing machine and find the relation between the heat treatment temperature and number of cycles of the steel. This project was not accomplished before; we hope to make a good addition to the facilities of the engineering faculty, and we ask Allah to help us to finish the project as best as we can. We were looking up in the internet and many of Books about the effect of heat treatment on the fatigue life and we realized that it needs more research, in this project we would to study the effect of quenching temperature in the fatigue life. | en |
