This research aims to study the performance of Nablus-West Waste Water Treatment Plant (NW-WWTP) under different load conditions. And‎ its‎ depended on a computer model to simulate the operation of the plant. All input data such as influent characteristics, treatment plant‎ unit‎ dimensions‎ and‎ process‎ ‎ etc.‎ were‎ collected‎ from‎ the‎ concerned‎ agencies.‎ The‎ computer program GPS-X was used to achieve the research aims. The model was calibrated based on data received from the treatment plant laboratory which describe the normal operation case,‎and‎then‎its‎used‎to‎study‎cases‎such‎as: Performance of the plant based on the designer values in the current year and the next five years in order to study the Future expansion of the plant during the first stage of plant construction, effects of variable pollutant loads from the most industrial activities in Nablus city on the treatment plant. In case of Normal Operation simulation the plant expected to achieve 94.5% of COD removal and 99.62% Of BOD removal, Nitrogen and phosphorus are removed by efficiency of 89.45% and 76% respectively.  The efficiency of the COD removal varies between 94.53% in 2015to 94.34 at the end of the first stage in 2020. The efficiency of COD removal affected by industrial wastewater discharged to the treatment plant as follows:  In light industries with low COD values such as Textile and furniture industries the efficiency was around 94.5%. In Tahina industries and Slaughter House the efficiency start to decrease form the 94.5to reach 94.1%. The efficiency decreased to 93.17% in diary industries and to 79.96% in case of discharge olive mills wastewater. Many recommendations were reported in this research. Among these; the competent authorities should prevent the illegal connections in Wadi Zeimar by the enactment of strict regulations, Advance sensors should be used in the area of collection wastewater to give signals to the plant that there is industrial wastewater will enter the plant, so it can be easy to deal with it before reaches the activated sludge units, more research should be carried out to study the gas production from the digester which can be used to  recover energy, to use auto samplers depend on the time and flow together in taking the composite sample in order to achieve more accurate data, to  put measuring devices after each of Primary sedimentation tanks, Mechanical Thickener and Mechanical Dewatering to study the biology characteristics of wastewater before it enters the activated sludge unit. Finally, a well-calibrated model can be used to evaluate process capacities and operational changes, so it is possible to rely on it to predict the results in different situations and to find whether the treated wastewater quality will still achieve the Palestinian standards in order to be used in irrigation.en
