dc.description.abstractThe Study aimed to investigate the professional work values that should be included in the textbooks of national and civil education for the higher basic stage (grades: 8, 9, and 10) in Jordan. A list of (57) values was developed, and moderated by curriculum specialists. It was also represented to specialists to estimate the frequencies with which values should be included in textbooks. The list consisted of six domains: managerial, technical, cognitive, personal, interpersonal, and group-system values. Content analysis of textbooks was undertaken to find the frequencies of inclusion of these values in textbooks adopting the concept as the subject of analysis. Results revealed that work-related values were most included in the textbook of the tenth grade, followed by the eighth, and then the ninth. Managerial values were the highest in inclusion, followed by interpersonal, technical, personal, cognitive, and group-system values. Also there were (11) values not included in textbooks, they were: discipline, accuracy of objectives and results, cost detection, like of wisdom, altruism, modesty, trust giving, holistic vision, achievement of satisfaction, reinforcement of analytical ability, goodness of situation expression. There were no consistency between frequencies of inclusion of work values in textbooks and curriculum specialists' expected frequencies (expected were higher than the real inclusion). Therefore it was recommended to include these values in the textbooks.en
dc.description.abstractهدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة القيم المرتبطة بالعمل المهني التي ينبغي تضمينها في كتب التربية الوطنية والمدنية للمرحلة الأساسية العليا (الصفوف: الثامن والتاسع والعاشر) في الأردن، ومعرفة درجة توافر تلك القيم في هذه الكتب. تم بناء قائمة بالقيم المرتبطة بالعمل المهني احتوت (57) قيمة، وتم عرضها على المتخصصين في مناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية لتحكيمها، وبعد تعديلها طلب منهم تحديد التكرارات التي ينبغي أن ترد بها تلك القيم في الكتب. وقد تضمنت القائمة ستة مجالات من القيم: مجال القيم الإدارية، مجال القيم التقنية، ومجال القيم المعرفية/العلمية، ومجال القيم الشخصية، ومجال القيم البينشخصية، ومجال القيم الزمرية/الجماعية. وجرى تحليل محتوى الكتب وفق هذه القائمة لمعرفة تكرارات توافر تلك القيم فيها باعتماد المفهوم كموضوع للتحليل. وللتأكد من ثبات التحليل تم إعادته مرتين بواقع أسبوعين بينهما، وكان معامل الثبات الكلي (0.89). دلت نتائج التحليل على أن أكثر توافر للقيم المرتبطة بالعمل كان في كتاب اصف العاشر، ثم في كتاب الصف الثامن، ثم التاسع. وقد كانت القيم المتضمنة في مجال القيم الإدارية كانت الأكثر توافرا في الكتب، ثم مجال القيم البينشخصية، فمجال القيم التقنية، فالشخصية، فالمعرفية ثم مجال القيم الزمرية/الجماعية. كما تبين عدم احتواء الكتب على إحدى عشرة قيمة من القيم المرتبطة بالعمل هي: الانضباط، دقة الأهداف والنتائج، تفحص التكاليف، حب الحكمة، الإيثار، التواضع، منح الثقة، السعي نحو الكلية، تحقيق الرضا والاطمئنان، إثارة القدرة التحليلية، وحسن التعبير عن الواقع. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود انسجام بين التكرارات المتوقعة لتضمين القيم في الكتب وتلك التي توافرت بها، حيث كانت التكرارات المتوقعة أكثر من تلك الواردة في الكتب فعلا. ولذا فقد كان من أهم التوصيات ضرورة تضمين تلك القيم في الكتب والعمل على ممارسة الطلبة لها في ظروف عملية واقعية.ar
