Abstract
Quantity surveying and cost estimation is considered an essential pillar of the project, as it benefits both the owner and the contractor, and provides a comprehensive vision of the financial, temporal and administrative perspective towards the project.
Our project explains the mechanisms used in civil and military construction projects, provides an unlimited view into project management, and talks about the programs used in engineering calculations, starting from Revit to the Primavera program.
we will later make a three-dimensional model of the building that we have chosen, and we will calculate the quantities of all materials that will be used. In the project, in addition to calculating the cost, we will also schedule the chronology of activities using the software.
First, we obtained the project plans, then we will calculate its quantities, and create a schedule of activities, until we finally reach the pricing stage and determine a final cost for the project.
The current status of this project is that it is under construction, as its plans have been approved and it has not yet been implemented on the ground. In advanced stages after it is implemented, we will compare the real quantities with the outputs of our project.
