Abstract
Locks are one of the most important items in any household the keep
the house and room secure and limit access to anywhere you want,
but locks have a lot of disadvantages including jamming, collecting
rust, the key could break and you will lose all access to the lock,
that’s why in our project we plan to minimize the disadvantages of
locks by adding a smart controller to manage and open the lock as
a secondary measure or a replacement to keys. The project uses
an app to communicate with the lock to open and close it and uses
proximity sensors to open the lock when the owner is near the door
it can also monitor who enters and leaves the house at all times.
There has been some smart locks before but none of them had all
the capabilities we are trying to implement.
